Report:
While shy on entries it was still a long hard day of great racing. Preparation, reliability and concentration being the 3 issues that seemed to dog most in some way or another. The water conditions were great, not to variable but with a max field of boats out on the course then it still roughed up quite a bit, certainly enough to challenge a few that are yet to experience ture “offshore” conditions !
It became quite obvious that “power” is not everything, with the outcome being “the faster you go, the bigger the mess” for some.
The Thunderboat feature races were a great addition and something different for the spectators to watch, again preparation and reliability being the key decider.
